The game was very competitive throughout with Brooke Weston ahead for most of the game and Corby Business Academy playing catch up, meaning that the format of the game led to some great running rugby with a variety of excellent skills being demonstrated.

P.E. teacher Mr Matthew Clasper said, ‘This was a friendly game to increase the interest that Corby Business Academy have in developing rugby at school so that more students will want to participate when we host them in the return fixture. The majority of our Year 10 boys are now playing for Kettering rugby club which is a fantastic way for them to continue to enjoy playing a fantastic sport.’
