Year 12 student wins the Bicen Maths award 2025!
Congratulations to Dylan Chan, Year 12, who has been announced as one of the winners of the inaugural Bicen Maths Award.
The Bicen Maths Award is a scholarship opportunity established by Seb Bicen, a renowned mathematics educator and YouTuber known for his comprehensive A-Level Maths tutorials. The award aims to support and recognise students excelling in mathematics.
To apply for the Bicen Maths Award, students were required to create and submit a video showcasing their academic excellence and progress, contributions and efforts, and explaining why they deserved the award.
Dylan's submission stood out, earning him a prize of £210 and a Casio Graphics Calculator. Seb Bicen praised Dylan's video, stating it was ‘brilliant’ and expressed his admiration for Dylan's ‘amazing’ maths achievements. He also acknowledged Dylan as potential future competition and recommended that students check out Dylan's YouTube channel @dylanpi
