Brooke Weston Academy is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in the library from Wednesday 19th until Monday 24th February.

The Book Fair brings students the very best books, including over 200 top children’s titles from over 60 publishers, carefully chosen to reflect all tastes and abilities.

All books sold at the Book Fair will also help to earn free books for our school! Students will have the opportunity to purchase books as well as stationery.

Payment at our Book Fair:

• Pre-paid gift vouchers are available in £5, £10, £15, £20 and £25. Buy vouchers for your child before the Fair here: Gift Vouchers                                                                                                                        Once a purchase has been made, you will receive the gift voucher via email, which can be printed off and sent to school with your child.

*Please note that cash payments will not be accepted.

£1 World Book Day tokens will be available for students to collect during the Book Fair; to receive £1 off any book costing £2.99 or more. Only one token per student.

There is also a ‘Design a Book Cover’ competition for Year 7 and 8. Information and templates are available from the library. The closing date for competition entries is Monday 17th February. Three winners will each win a book of their choice from the Book Fair.

Librarian Wendy Mann said, ‘The Book Fair is great for getting the students enthusiastic about books, and it is a fantastic way to promote reading in school. There is always an excellent range of books, including many of the classics as well as new titles from popular authors.’
