Well done to our talented athletes who recently represented the district at the County Athletics Championships held at Rockingham Athletics Track.

We had seven students from Brooke Weston Academy at the championships who achieved some fantastic results.

Year 9

Harlee Hooker – 1^st in 1500m,

Ava Martin-Hall – 4^th in Shot Put,

Beau Tilaks – 4^th in Javelin

Year 10

Amelia Pilolo – 1^st in Shot Put and 2^nd in Discus

Kyle Le Gall -  4th in 200m

Zorka Nagy – 6^th in Discus

Year 11

Maggie Gancheva – 2^nd 800m

Following their outstanding performances, Amelia, Maggie and Harlee qualified to represent the county at the Inter Counties Athletics Championships, which took place in Stoke-on-Trent.
