Dear Parents/Carers,
Following tonight’s announcement by the Prime Minister, the only children who should be attending the Academy tomorrow are those in the vulnerable category or those whose parents are critical workers. The definitions for both these categories can be found here.
Students have made festive sweet treats and decorations which were handed out to staff at Brooke Weston Academy.
As part of our Christmas celebrations we asked students to bring donations for the town’s foodbank and were overwhelmed that they generously gave hundreds of items that needed two minibuses to transport!
Well done to the young artists at Brooke Weston Academy whose work made the top three in Brooke Weston Academy’s annual Christmas card competition.
Congratulations to Zahra Khan from Year 10 who has won the Royal Geographical Society’s Young Geographer of the Year competition.
