BWA students take a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour!
Brooke Weston Academy had its inaugural Media Studies trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Watford, offering an exciting opportunity for our KS4 and KS5 Media students!
The day began with a hands-on camerawork workshop, where students engaged with original props and costumes from the film and learnt behind-the-scenes secrets about the franchise. This was followed by the highly anticipated studio tour, where students explored iconic sets, from the Great Hall and the Hogwarts Express, to Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest.
Teacher of English and KS5 Media Lead, Victoria Stevens said, ‘The trip was a fantastic experience that enhanced our Media students' understanding of production and fuelled their excitement for filmmaking. We look forward to more adventures in the future!’
