Year 8 Evie takes to the stage as Miss Honey at the Masque Theatre in Kettering
Well done to Evie Fleming Y8 who recently took on the role of Miss Honey in the Louise Wright Theatre School production of Matilda the Musical Jr at the Masque Theatre in Kettering.
Evie was also in action as Miss Honey at the recent ‘Kettfest’, Kettering's art, culture, music and community festival, where she performed a solo performance of the song ‘This Little Girl.’
Evie has always enjoyed performing, whether it be singing, acting or dancing, and has been a member of the Louise Wright Theatre School for seven years, attending classes 3–4 times a week.
She said, ‘I love performing, and I don’t really get nervous until I’m on the stage and then the nerves go again as soon as I start to sing. I have auditioned for the BWA production of Sister Act the Musical and my future aspirations are to study dance and musical theatre at Urdang, City of London University.’
