Year 11 students visit Tresham College in Corby

The itinerary included a warm welcome and an insightful talk on college and apprenticeships, followed by an engaging tour showcasing departments such as motor vehicle, carpentry, bricklaying, and painting and decorating. The highlight of the visit was the hands-on taster session in the Motor Vehicle department.
Moe Mbye said, ‘When I was looking around Tresham College, I found out one of my interests for the course I want to do, which was motor vehicle, as we did a practical of changing car tyres.’
Nyasha Sachinda said, ‘The trip to Tresham College, was a real eye-opener for me because I was not expecting the amount of options that could help me in the future with my choices. It revealed all the benefits of taking a course or apprenticeship.’
